Over the weekend, 7-Eleven, Inc. turned a dozens of its stores into the fabled Kwik-E-mart stores from the Simpsons. What a brilliant marketing blitz! The 7-Eleven Kwik-E-Marts will maintain the Simposons facade for the next month and will even sell items that only exist in the Simpsons’ world such as: Buzz Cola, KrustyO’s cereal and Squishees. It doesn’t stop there. 7-Eleven has also contracted with manufacturers to make the Kwik-E-mart counterparts such as Malt-O-Meal. I think this is a wonderful and refreshing campaign that truly brings a product to life.
