Last night ABC News aired a segment on the role of typography in our candidate’s campaigns. ABC News brought in Brian Collins, who of course, spoke very eloquently and knowledgeable on the subject of typography. And of course one of the things Brian spoke about was Barack Obama’s campaign and his use of “gotham.”
Gotham huh? So where exactly do we see gotham? I don’t know about you but I see what looks to me like Perpetua (serif) and Gill Sans (sans-serif). Hmm, maybe those editing the footage should learn a thing or two about due diligence and research. (Just a thought)
